Loïc Baboulaz, Co-Founder and CTO – Artmyn

Dr. Loïc Baboulaz, the co-founder and CTO of ARTMYN, is a visionary in the realm of imaging services. ARTMYN specializes in high-fidelity, high-resolution, and multimodal digitization of visual artworks. Dr. Baboulaz’s journey includes leading the e-Facsimile project, a “Google focused research award” at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne, which laid the foundation for ARTMYN. He holds a PhD in Image Processing from Imperial College London.

Pierre Coutaz, Co-founder and CEO – Time Designers

Pierre Coutaz, the co-founder and CEO of Time Designers, shares his inspiration drawn from Salvador Dalí in crafting timepieces that house remarkable physical phenomena. Alongside his close friend and associate, Guillaume Bonneau, Pierre’s startup reimagines timekeeping as an art form. Their debut watch sculpts time through a three-dimensional liquid within a sapphire capsule. Time Designers was honored in the Start Lausanne Contest and the Innovation By Design Challenge. It garnered support from the foundation Watch Academy and is incubated at EPFL Innovation Park.

Soufian Mahlouly, Co-founder and CEO – Furinkazan

Soufian Mahlouly, the co-founder and CEO of Furinkazan SA, is a dynamic force in the world of video games and interactive media. His startup specializes in brand management, production, publishing, marketing, and licensing of the Opticale franchise, a transmedia narrative universe. Soufian is also a valued member of the Advisory Board of Insiders SA and an innovation coach at IMD Business School. Beyond his professional achievements, he’s a martial arts enthusiast, certified martial arts instructor, freediver, and Swiss Karate champion.

Emilien Schenker, Grants & Program Manager – State of Vaud – Office for Economic Affairs & Innovation

This table discussion will be moderated by Emilien Schenker, a Visual Communications Designer and Business Administration graduate with a passion for the convergence of art and technology. Over the past seven years, he’s worked extensively in public administration at local, regional, and national levels, gaining a deep understanding of Switzerland’s political and economic landscape. Emilien plays a pivotal role in financing and coordinating around 40 events and programs annually, promoting business opportunities in the Vaud region. He’s a versatile collaborator with a broad national and international network. Notably, he successfully launched the first ArtTech open-innovation challenge in the Canton of Vaud.
