Meet our Distinguished Speakers

We are pleased to present to you some of the speakers who will attend the 6th edition of the ArtTech Forum which will take place within the walls of the Villars Palace, on September 14 and 15, 2023.

 

Moritz Leuenberger, Former President of the Swiss Confederation, TA SWISS

Moritz Leuenberger served as a Federal Councillor from 1995 to 2010, overseeing the Department of the Environment, Transport, Energy, and Communications (DETEC). Notably, he was the President of the Swiss Confederation in 2001 and 2006. From 2015 to 2021, he hosted the monthly “Bernhard Matinee,” a cultural entertainment format in Zurich. Moreover, he chaired the board of TA-SWISS (Foundation for Technology Assessment) until the end of 2022. He intervenes on fundamental issues of culture, religion and politics.

Paola Gazzani Marinelli, Head of Programs, the Digital Creation Hub

Paola Gazzani Marinelli holds a degree in social and political sciences and currently serves as the Head of Programs at the Digital Creation Hub. She is also a member of the XR selection committee for GIFF. With a rich background at GIFF, where she worked as the Head of Professional and Digital Programs from 2014 to 2023, Paola is passionate about digital creation and exploring new modes of storytelling. Her focus lies in the future of audiovisual creation and its connection to emerging technologies.

Laurence Le Ny, VP Startup Ecosystem Creative Industries, Orange Content

Laurence Le Ny boasts an impressive 20-year career in the music industry, having held executive positions at Sony Music and Warner Music in France. Her expertise led her to Operator Orange, where she took charge of strategy and development for music services across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. During her tenure, she forged a successful partnership with Deezer, the renowned music streaming service. Currently, Laurence oversees relationships with startups at the Orange Content Division. Her diverse experiences bring valuable perspectives on the intersection of music, technology, and innovation.

Faustino Cuadrado, CEO APP&TOWN, Massfactory

With over 25 years of C-Level experience in the Technology, Media and Telecom sector, Faustino is a seasoned leader of multicultural teams. As a computer engineer from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and a CEO graduate from IESE, his entrepreneurial background includes co-founding BuyVIP Amazon. Faustino’s vision and strategic acumen have driven the success of his companies, establishing them as industry leaders.
