Nathan Ornick, Program Director – Mixed Reality iart AG
Nathan Ornick has broad expertise in media and technology, including digital production, film, VFX, games, and advertising. He leads product development and experience design for mixed reality (XR) at iart, co-founded creative production company BOOST+, and is a board member at IGDA. He’s directed studios and teams for over two decades across North America, Europe, and the Middle East, serving a wide variety of brands and institutions. Nathan is passionate about emerging technology, storytelling, and design, and how they can be strategically used to create innovative products, content, and experiences.
Samanta Peña, Head of Accelerator – CultTech Accelerator
Samanta Peña is the current Head of Accelerator at CultTech Accelerator, a global community and program that aims to unite culture and technology for the benefit of society. With a vision to create a world where culture is more financially independent and accessible to all, Samanta leads the accelerator’s efforts in supporting CultTech companies to become more investor ready and fostering innovation in the cultural technology space. Through the CultTech acceleration program, Samanta and her team deliver a high-quality program tailored to the specific needs of startups in the CultTech sector, providing them with access to industry experts, personal mentor, and a trusted community.
Raphaël Conz, Managing Director State of Vaud – Office for Economic Affairs & Innovation
Raphaël Conz is Managing Director of the Office for Economic Affairs and Innovation (SPEI) – State of Vaud, responsible for the economic development policy as well as the financial and tax incentives dedicated to Vaud-based start-up, SMEs and international companies. He is member of the board of directors of different organisations : Innovaud, Vaud Promotion, Cautionnement Romand, FIT (Foundation for Technology Innovation), EPFL Innovation Park, Biopôle, Y-Parc (Technology Park of Yverdon), Genilem, Trust Valley and Swiss Food Nutrition Valley.
Susana Panades Díaz, Mocap performer, Lead dance artist – Cie Gilles Jobin
Susana Panades Díaz is a contemporary dancer who has been with the Gilles Jobin company since 2005, where she is the lead artist. She specialises in movement capture and is familiar with the company’s dance style. She has played a leading role in several projects, such as Dance Trail (AR, 2020), WOMB (3D film, 2006), VR_I (VR, 2017), Cosmogony (live motion capture, 2021) and La Comédie Virtuelle (VR 2020-21).
