The AVARA Art & Tech Event 2025, co-organized in collaboration with Oamk (Oulu University of Applied Sciences) is just around the corner, and we are excited to welcome you to Oulu, Finland, on November 19-21, 2025. An enlightening program awaits, filled with inspiring presentations, thought-provoking discussions, and innovative showcases at the intersection of art and technology.
A highlight of this year’s forum will be the presentations from eight outstanding startups, each vying for the prestigious 2025 ArtTech Prize. These innovative companies represent the forefront of creativity and technology, and we are proud to present this year’s finalists:
Artcrush (Belgium) transforms digital billboards into open-air galleries, bringing curated art to everyday spaces — train stations, bus stops & city streets – where millions encounter it daily.
Beat Shaper (Austria) is a generative music platform that uses AI to let anyone create music. The platform integrates with established music production tools and helps both aspiring and established producers overcome creative blocks and technical hurdles in composition, sound design, and music theory.
Emergentic.ai (USA) is an authoring and simulation platform for building and deploying AI agents. It gives creators the tools to build persistent, multi-agent narrative systems.
KTG Research & Innovation Ltd (Cyprus), through its project ReadEU, is developing a multi-sided discovery platform connecting libraries, publishers, indie authors, and readers with books overlooked by mainstream algorithms.
OnstageAI, Inc. (USA) has harnessed the power of AI technology and translated it into a production assistant tool for the automation of live classical video production.
Pattermsfrom Agency Oy (Finland), “Your outsourced design team,” combines technology and creativity to make high-quality, long-lasting design accessible worldwide.
Peggy (Canada) is a tech-driven marketplace transforming how art is bought and sold. It is the first platform that empowers a broad community of collectors, galleries, and artists to engage in art resale with secure provenance.
RealSnap (Korea) is an AI-native platform transforming how fashion brands create, present, and scale their products. It replaces traditional model shoots with fully generated, brand-consistent lookbooks—built in minutes, not weeks.
These startups have captivated us with their visionary approaches and their potential to transform the art industry. We encourage you to explore their work, as they continue to push the boundaries of what is possible in art and technology.
We also want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the esteemed members of the ArtTech Prize Jury for their dedication and expertise:
