We are pleased to present to you some of the speakers who will attend the 6th edition of The ArtTech Forum which will take place within the walls of the Villars Palace, on September 14 and 15, 2023.

 

Sabine Himmelsbach, Director of HEK (House of Electronic Arts) in Basel

Sabine Himmelsbach is the director of the House of Electronic Arts (HEK) in Basel since 2012. She has worked for galleries in Munich and Vienna and has managed the exhibition at the ZKM Center for Art and Media in Karlsruhe. She curates exhibitions and lectures on media art and digital culture.

Brendan Ciecko, Founder & CEO of Cuseum

Brendan Ciecko is the founder and CEO of Cuseum, a platform that helps museums and cultural organizations engage their visitors. He has been building technology since the age of 11 and is recognized as one of America’s top young entrepreneurs.

Laetitia Bochud, Director of Virtual Switzerland 

Laetitia Bochud has contributed to launch, shape, and grow Virtual Switzerland, the Swiss national network for extended realities (XR). She is developing and promoting the association, its national and international collaborations, while striving to foster and facilitate technological transfer, synergies, and strategic advisory around augmented, mixed, and virtual realities.

Alain Dufaux, Director Operations & Development, EPFL Metamedia Center

Alain Dufaux is an expert in signal processing for audio and images, with experience in both academic and industrial settings. He completed his studies at EPFL and University of Neuchâtel before joining the hearing-aid industry. He returned to EPFL in 2007 and now serves as the executive director of the EPFL Cultural Heritage & Innovation Center, coordinating research and innovation projects.
