The ArtTech Forum 2019 will take place at the Cini Foundation in Venice on 24th September
The conferences and panel discussions will present different projects showing the link between technologies, heritage preservation and the archiving of historical data. Among these, the Time Machine Project which builds a Large Scale Simulator mapping 2000 years of European History, transforming kilometres of archives and large collections from museums into a digital information system, will be showcased. Adam Lowe, CEO of Factum Arte, a foundation and company constructing a bridge between new technology and craft skills will also present his projects. In addition to this there will be a tour of the Cini Foundation and a panel discussion on new business models focusing on to promote entrepreneurship and investment in the domain of culture and technology.
Finally, the ArtTech Prize will be awarded to one of the 8 startups selected by an international Jury. As in 2017 and in 2018, the participants from Europe, the United States and Asia will have the opportunity to create ties that will eventually help develop new projects.
The first ArtTech Forum took place on 29th September 2017 at Forum Rolex EPFL, Switzerland. For its second edition, the 2018 ArtTech Forum aimed to bring together an international community of researchers, engineers and scientists, representatives from the sphere of culture and economy .
